Industrial Rope Access Trade Association — the international body that sets standards for industrial rope access, a technique for accessing difficult structures using ropes, harnesses, and specialised rigging equipment. IRATA-certified technicians work on offshore platforms, wind turbines, bridges, and tall structures.
